Abstract:The Influence of Phosporus Availability on Cerelle Wilt Levels and Fruit Growth on Three Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) Clones in Unit Produksi Segayung Utara PT. Pagilaran Perwita Agung Nugroho 14/367169/PN/13809 The objectives of research were to examine and determine the contributions of phosphorus (P) in the planting media to reduce the incidence of cerelle wilt, increase in number of pod per stand, and increase productivity of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.), especially RCC 70, RCC 71, and KKM 22 clones at Segayung Utara Production Unit, PT. Pagilran. The field experiment was arranged in a Nested Design, with three blocks replications. The first factor that acting as a nest was the availabilities of P, consisting of two levels, namely high and low levels of P. The second factor was cocoa clones, consisting of three clones, namely RCC 70, RCC 71, and KKM 22. The observations were done on several variables of microclimate, soil chemical, incidence of cerelle wilt, physiological characters, and productivities and qualities of cocoa beans. Data were analyzed with Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) at 95% confidence levels, and continued with Tukey's HSD test if there were differences among treatments. The results showed that the high availability of P (49.46ppm) in the soil had the potential to improve the physiological activities of the cocoa, the main indicators were increased in leaf P contents, chlorophyll contents, leaf CO2 concentrations, photosynthesis rate, transpiration rate, leaf H2O contents, and seeds filling rate. In addition, the high availability of P was also able to suppress cerelle wilt incidence and improve the quality of cocoa beans, the main indicators were increased in pod length, diameter, and weight, fresh weight of seeds/pod, dry weight of seed/pod, and dry weight/seed. However, the high availability of P in the soil had not been able to increase the pod growth rate, especially for RCC 70, RCC 71, and KKM 22 clones. Intisari: INTISARI Pengaruh Ketersediaan Fosfor Tingkat Layu Pentil dan Pertumbuhan Buah Tiga Klon Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) Di Unit Produksi Sehayung Utara PT. Pagilaran Perwita Agung Nugroho 14/367169/PN/13809 Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menentukan kontribusi fosfor (P) dalam media tanam pada pengurangan kejadian layu pentil, peningkatan jumlah buah per tegakan, dan produktivitas kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) klon RCC 70, RCC 71, dan KKM 22 di Unit Produksi Segayung Utara, PT. Pagilran. Percobaan lapangan disusun menggunakan Rancangan Tersarang (Nested Design), dengan tiga blok sebagai ulangan. Faktor pertama yang bertindak sebagai sarang adalah ketersediaan P, terdiri dari dua aras yaitu P tersedia tinggi dan rendah. Faktor kedua adalah klon kakao, terdiri dari tiga klon yaitu RCC 70, RCC 71, dan KKM 22. Variabel yang diukur mencakup karakter iklim mikro, karakter kimia tanah, kejadian layu pentil, karakter fisiologis, produktivitas dan kualitas hasil kakao. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis varians (ANOVA) dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%, dan dilanjutkan dengan uji HSD Tukey’s jika terdapat beda nyata antar perlakuan. Hasil penelitian memberikan informasi bahwa ketersediaan P yang tinggi (49.46ppm) dalam tanah berpotensi memperbaiki aktivitas fisiologis tanaman kakao yang meliputi kenaikan kandungan fosfor daun, kandungan klorofil daun, konsentrasi CO2 daun, laju fotosintesis daun, laju transpirasi daun, kandungan H2O dalam daun, dan laju pengisian biji. Selain itu, tingkat ketersediaan P yang cukup tinggi juga mampu menekan rasio layu pentil pada tanaman kakao dan meningkatkan mutu biji kakao dengan indikator berupa kenaikan panjang buah, diameter buah, berat segar buah, berat segar biji/polong, berat kering biji/polong, jumlah biji/polong, dan bobot per biji. Namun demikian, tingkat ketersediaan P dalam tanah yang cukup tinggi belum mampu meningkatkan laju pertumbuhan buah kakao klon RCC 70, RCC 71, dan KKM 22. Pertumbuhan buah kakao lebih ditentukan oleh karakter genetik tanaman, dalam hal ini klon kakao.
